I've decided to start off the New Year with a hardcover book! I am almost solely a Kindle/Ipad reader, so whenever I hold a book in my hands feels like a blast from the past. I love the way a new book smells, but I love the fact that I can sit in a dim room with my Kindle with it's backlight.
I chose Stephen King's "Revival" for my first book of the New Year. I love Stephen King (I know everyone does), but I struggle with reading him sometimes. I used to devour his books, but after I got divorced, I read, "The Dark Half" (that was some scary stuff) and found myself afraid to go to sleep alone at night. I felt like I lost Stephen King in the divorce too! LOL
But I've been divorced and sleeping alone for quite a while now, so I've told myself to (wo)man up, and read him again. I've heard great things about this book, so wish me luck in reading and sleep!
